I just watched ‘Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade’ a video documentary about the Arcade scene in the 1980′s and the end of this scene in the mid 1980′s.

Although I wasn’t even born in this era, I really enjoyed watching this documentary. It’s very inspiring to see these enthusiastic and dedicated people talk about the games that they played and the great time that they had.

If you want to see the documentary, you can go to the screening by Mediamatic on March 1st, 2011. It’s only 5 euro’s and while you’re there you can play some games in the Arcade Exhibition (Currently on level 4: Handhelds)! More information about this screening is on their website.
